All for Jesus (1 Corinthians 10:1-5)

Andrew Moody, August 5, 2012
Part of the Misc Sermons series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

In 1 Corinthians 10:1-5, our forefathers the Israelites are held out as an example of those who received God's blessing, and yet turned aside and perished. This is an important reminder to live our lives to honor and glorify God and not for our own selfish purposes.

1 Corinthians 10:1-5

10:1 For I want you to know, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ. Nevertheless, with most of them God was not pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness. (ESV)
